 개역개정 병사로 복무하는 자는 자기 생활에 얽매이는 자가 하나도 없나니 이는 병사로 모집한 자를 기쁘게 하려 함이라
 KJV No man that warreth entangleth himself with the affairs of this life; that he may please him who hath chosen him to be a soldier.
 NIV No one serving as a soldier gets involved in civilian affairs--he wants to please his commanding officer.
 공동번역 군에 복무하는 사람은 자기를 뽑아 준 상관을 기쁘게 해 주어야 합니다. 그러므로 자기 살림살이에 얽매여서는 안 됩니다.
