 개역개정 내가 또 말하기를 네 발을 제어하여 벗은 발이 되게 하지 말며 목을 갈하게 하지 말라 하였으나 오직 너는 말하기를 아니라 이는 헛된 말이라 내가 이방 신들을 사랑하였은즉 그를 따라 가겠노라 하도다
 KJV Withhold thy foot from being unshod, and thy throat from thirst: but thou saidst, There is no hope: no; for I have loved strangers, and after them will I go.
 NIV Do not run until your feet are bare and your throat is dry. But you said, 'It's no use! I love foreign gods, and I must go after them.'
 공동번역 그러다가는 신발이 다 해질라, 목이 다 탈라, 일러 주었건만 한다는 소리가, `다 버린 몸 말리지 마셔요. 나는 외간 남자들이 좋아요. 외간 남자들을 따라 가겠어요.'

 Afr1953 Hou jou voet terug, dat dit sy skoen nie verloor nie; en jou keel, dat dit nie dors word nie. Maar jy s?: Dit is tevergeefs, nee; want ek het vreemdes lief en sal agter hulle aan loop.
 BulVeren Въздържай крака си да не ходиш боса, и гърлото си да не съхне от жажда! Но ти си казала: Напразно е! Не! Защото заобичах чужденци и след тях ще отида.
