 개역개정 보라 네가 애굽을 믿는도다 그것은 상한 갈대 지팡이와 같은 것이라 사람이 그것을 의지하면 손이 찔리리니 애굽 왕 바로는 그를 믿는 모든 자에게 이와 같으니라
 KJV Lo, thou trustest in the staff of this broken reed, on Egypt; whereon if a man lean, it will go into his hand, and pierce it: so is Pharaoh king of Egypt to all that trust in him.
 NIV Look now, you are depending on Egypt, that splintered reed of a staff, which pierces a man's hand and wounds him if he leans on it! Such is Pharaoh king of Egypt to all who depend on him.
 공동번역 네가 믿는 에집트는 부러진 갈대에 불과하다. 그것을 지팡이처럼 믿는다마는 그것을 잡았다가는 도리어 손만 베일 것이다. 에집트 왕 파라오는 자기를 믿는 모든 자들에게 그렇게 대한다.
 북한성경 네가 믿는 애굽은 부러진 갈대에 불과하다. 그것을 지팽이처럼 믿는다마는 그것을 잡았다가는 도리여 손만 베일 것이다.
 Afr1953 Kyk, jy vertrou op die geknakte rietstok, op Egipte, wat, as iemand daarop leun, in sy hand ingaan en dit deurboor; so is Farao, die koning van Egipte, vir almal wat op hom vertrou.
 BulVeren Ето, ти се надяваш на онази строшена тръстикова пръчка, на Египет, на която, ако се опре някой, ще се забучи в ръката му и ще я промуши. Такъв е египетският цар, фараонът, за всички, които се надяват на него.
 Dan Se, du sætter din Lid til Ægypten, denne brudte Rørkæp, som river S?r i H?nden p? den, der støtter sig til den! Thi s?ledes g?r det alle dem, der sætter deres Lid til Farao, Ægyptens Konge.

 ACV Behold, thou trust upon the staff of this bruised reed, even upon Egypt, on which if a man leans, it will go into his hand, and pierce it. So is Pharaoh king of Egypt to all who trust on him.
